Understanding ABV Calculations
Our calculator uses two different formulas to determine alcohol content:
- Standard ABV Formula - ABV = (OG - FG) × 131.25
- Advanced ABV Formula - ABV = (76.08 × (OG - FG) / (1.775 - OG)) × (FG / 0.794)
