Frequently Asked Questions

How are days calculated in this tool?

Our day counter calculates the total number of calendar days between two dates. When counting, the start date is normally excluded and the end date is included, but you can modify this with the "Include End Date" option. For business days, we exclude weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from the calculation.

Does this tool account for leap years?

Yes, our calculator automatically accounts for leap years in its calculations. February 29 is included when calculating days in leap years (2024, 2028, etc.).

Are holidays included in business day calculations?

No, our business day calculation only excludes weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). It doesn't account for holidays, which vary by country and region. For precise business day calculations including holidays, you may need to make additional adjustments.

What is the difference between "Days Until" and "Days Since"?

"Days Until" calculates how many days remain before a future date arrives. "Days Since" calculates how many days have passed since a date in the past. Both calculations can help you track important deadlines, anniversaries, or milestones.

How does the recurring event tracker work?

The recurring event tracker allows you to set up events that repeat at regular intervals (weekly, monthly, or yearly). For past events, it calculates how many occurrences have happened since the original date and when the next occurrence will be. For future events, it shows the countdown to the first occurrence.
